To determine how much of the odor we can actually get out depends on how long the car has been smoked in. This can be an intense smell in a vehicle especially if it has never been detailed before, over time smoke becomes embedded into materials, including carpets, seats, headliner etc.
We may suggest having a second appointment scheduled or to have new fabric for the seats and headliner. It is very tedious to get out, regardless though we will have your car smelling much better.
What is a thermal fogger?
Thermal fogging is a process where a deodorizer is heated and sprayed in a fog form. we place the fogging machine into the vehicle with the specific odor eliminator as it is able to permeate even the toughest-to-reach spots after it has been detailed.
And then we will run the fogger for about 15 mins and run the A/C to make sure the fog runs through the vents for fresher air. * WE RECOMMEND CHANGING YOUR CABIN AIR FILTER AFTER TREATMENT TO AVOID BRINGING THE SMELL BACK INTO THE CAR.
This is one of the most effective ways to eliminate the smell long term. Especially great if you are planning to sell or trade the car.
